Life is good. Love that I can finally play great PS1 games on my PS Vita. (Taken with Instagram)
Edit: Wallpaper is part of a pack at http://www.caemgen.nl/2012/07/10/ps-vita-wallpaper-pack-4/
Finally!!! Took me forever but I finally got all my familiars to level 99 in Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. Helps that I can finally play it on the Vita and got to work on it on the bus on my way to school.
Now to continue onto the second half of the game. *Enters Dracula’s upside-down castle* (Taken with Instagram)
I’ve put off playing some of the PS1 games I’ve had on my PS3 so that I can play them on my PS Vita while on the bus and during my wait between classes. The ones that worked and I am going to be playing are: Xenogears, Final Fantasy VI, Final Fantasy IX, Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, Castlevania Chronicles, Medievil, and Silent Hill.
I don’t think I’ll be on Tumblr much at all.
So I have a ton of PS1 games on my PS3 (especially with the free games I get being a PS+ member) that I have put off playing to play on my PS Vita. I’m getting tired of waiting. *sigh* PS1 support needs to come to the Vita soon. Especially before classes start in the fall when I’ll be taking the bus every day and have hours between classes.
More apps needed too. I’m kind of surprised there isn’t even an app to take notes. Surprisingly, I’ve needed that while out and about more often than I thought I would.
If you are thinking of purchasing a PS Vita, don’t let this post deter you. I love it! It is an amazing piece of hardware and has great potential. Also, there are going to be some fantastic games for it (which there are already are, plus a large amount of PSP games).
Sidenote: NHL 13 needs to come to the Vita as well. Playing that anywhere I want would be one of the best things to happen! I don’t get to play the NHL games as much as I would like (or they deserve). Please happen. Also, I’m pretty sure all the EA Sports games on the PS Vita would boost sales for the Vita and for EA.
End PS Vita rant.
Another Playstation game I found while bringing out my old PS1. I remember purchasing this out of a bin for $5 at Toys R’ Us (surprised me at the price people are charging for this game online!). I thought the cover looked cool and the description on the back sounded fun. I was quite young, not good at RPGs, and got my ass kicked. I did not get far at all in this game and didn’t play it again haha. Looking forward to playing it and reaching the top of that tower this time around!
I dug up my old Playstation games tonight and found this beauty in there. Forgot I had the first Monster Rancher game. What made this game so awesome when I was younger was that you have the ability to acquire new monsters by putting CDs into the Playstation and it would create a monster using the data on the CDs, just like getting monsters from disk stones in the anime (believe the games came before the anime but I saw the anime first). I use to wake up around 5 am just to watch this show when I was little haha.
